The two (2) day workshop entitled “Cloud-based Web Security Best Practices and System Configuration Overview Workshop” last April 10-11, 2019 was attended by the two faculties from the Information Technology Department, Ms. Anazel P. Gamilla and Mr. Marlon Naagas, which presided ASTI Training Room, ASTI Bldg., C.P. Garcia Ave., Diliman, Quezon City. This workshop is conducted by the Advanced Science and Technology Institute (ASTI) and is part of of the Asi@Connect Project entitled "Distributed and Cloud-based Network Defense System (DCNDS)” for National Research and Education Networks (NRENs), funded by the European Union and TEIN*Cooperation Center. The workshop addresses the principles and best practices to facilitate capacity building among NOC operators and network engineers as well as security personnel to support effective operation of Research and Education Networks in the Asian region.
