The creation of CBAA ushered the bid of CLSU to become comprehensive academic institution, it being an agricultural oriented school.
Its establishment enhanced the capability of CLSU to respond to the demands of its constituents for quality yet affordable education in the field of business education.
Since 1983, CBAA has been instrumental in promoting excellence in business education and providing service to various clienteles. It is committed to develop the capabilities of its students, faculty and staff. Primarily, it is steadfast in its dedication to produce competitive graduates in the fields of accountancy, management, economics and marketing.
CBAA prides itself with topnotchers in the CPA Board Examination and national awardees in business-related competitions like the Ten Outstanding Marketing Students of the Philippines (TOMAS) now dubbed as AGORA YOUTH AWARDS, the Philippine Council of Management’s (PHILCOMAN) Student Leadership Award, and the Most Outstanding Accounting Student in the Philippines, among others.
The Financial Executive Institute of the Philippines (FINEX) considers the student of CBAA as outstanding who are at par with the students of leading schools of business in the country. With the outstanding performance of its graduates, the CBAA has been recognized as one of the model business schools, not only in Region III but in the country as well.
